Job Purpose

The Specification Control Specialist main focus is to ensure that newly established part numbers are accurately identified with supplier/application information, submitted for appropriate maintenance to the masterfile, and distributed to necessary associates. The Specialist contributes to American Honda Motors Co. customer service mission by ensuring part numbers are established for customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Factory Engineering Design Change review
New Model Planning
Specification Control activities and logs
IC and CRF support
Spec/ NM Projects as assigned

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a procurement, production control, or engineering capacity
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
  • Engineering design change control
  • Ability to read drawings
  • PC Skills
  • Communication Skills


Working Conditions

Office environment, minimal travel required.
