Role Overview
The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions that enable seamless integration across Coupang’s e-commerce platform, logistics network, and financial systems. This role requires deep expertise in SAP architecture and a strong understanding of high-volume retail and fulfillment processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Solution Design & Architecture
o Define SAP architecture strategies aligned with Coupang’s e-commerce and logistics operations.
o Design scalable SAP solutions for order management, inventory, procurement, and finance.
· Integration
o Ensure smooth integration between SAP modules and Coupang’s microservices-based platform.
o Collaborate with AWS cloud teams to optimize SAP performance in a cloud environment.
· Implementation & Governance
o Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
o Establish governance frameworks and enforce SAP best practices.
· Collaboration
o Partner with business units (fulfillment, finance, supply chain) to translate requirements into SAP solutions.
o Work closely with engineering teams to ensure compatibility with Coupang’s tech stack.
· Optimization
o Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within SAP workflows.
o Monitor system performance and implement enhancements for scalability.
Required Qualifications
· Experience:
o 10+ years in SAP architecture and implementation roles.
o Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and modules relevant to e-commerce (MM, SD, FI/CO, EWM).
· Skills:
o Strong knowledge of SAP integration with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
o Understanding of high-volume order processing and fulfillment systems.
· Certifications:
o SAP Certified Solution Architect.
o TOGAF or ITIL preferred.
Preferred Experience
· Large-scale SAP deployments in e-commerce or retail environments.
· Familiarity with logistics, last-mile delivery, and warehouse management systems.
· Experience with API-based integration and microservices architecture.
