Senior Enterprise Architect (Salesforce / MuleSoft)
Location: ~95% Remote (occasional in-office work required, Columbus, Ohio, USA)
Interview Format: Combination of Microsoft Teams and In-Person
Seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive a major digital transformation initiative. This senior-level position will lead the architecture and implementation of an integrated Salesforce and MuleSoft platform, connecting multiple enterprise systems such as SQL Server and the State of Ohio's data lake.
Key Focus Areas
1. Salesforce & MuleSoft Architecture
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce CRM and MuleSoft integration.
- Define technical architecture, integration standards, and reusable patterns.
- Stay current on Salesforce/MuleSoft releases and best practices.
2. Solution Design & Delivery
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Create architecture diagrams, design documentation, and solution roadmaps.
- Oversee implementation and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
3. Integration & Data Management
- Lead integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other systems.
- Support data migration and transformation into the State Data Lake.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Background & Skills
- Deep experience with Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Advanced knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led architecture.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server, data integration, and cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, able to bridge business and technology.
- Experience in public sector or large enterprise environments preferred.
