Overview

We are seeking a Principal-level Android Architect to support a client engagement focused on modernizing and future-proofing their Android deployment strategy. This role is advisory and architecture-led, requiring a consultant who can evaluate complex enterprise environments and define a flexible path forward beyond a traditional MDM-only approach.

Engagement Scope

The Principal Consultant will work closely with client stakeholders to assess the current Android deployment model and recommend an improved architecture and roadmap that supports scalability, flexibility, and long-term evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the client’s existing Android deployment strategy, tooling, and architecture
• Assess limitations of the current MDM-centric approach and identify opportunities for improvement
• Design a flexible, scalable Android enterprise architecture that accounts for device diversity and future growth
• Define trade-offs, risks, and decision criteria for recommended approaches
• Develop a phased roadmap outlining near-term and long-term strategy
• Provide guidance for initial implementation efforts
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and executive audiences

Required Experience & Skills

• Senior-level experience with Android Enterprise in large or complex environments
• Deep understanding of enterprise mobility and device lifecycle management
• Experience designing deployment strategies that extend beyond traditional MDM solutions
• Strong architectural thinking with a system-level mindset
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in consulting or advisory roles preferred
