Google Cloud Platform Tech Support Engineer We have an immediate need for a Google Cloud Platform Technical Support Representative (Networking) to support our Federal Client The selected candidate will be responsible for handling support cases related to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), with a focus on networking. This role demands providing effective and timely solutions to customers, often in collaboration with customer teams, cloud architects, engineers, and subject matter experts. To be successful in this position, one needs to be comfortable working in a 24/7 support environment and must possess a foundational understanding of cloud technologies, including Virtual Machines, Databases, RESTful APIs, Containers, and general software development. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in cloud technology and a strong grasp of basic hardware components such as CPUs, memory, storage types, and GPUs. Familiarity with networking concepts like latency, ingress/egress traffic, firewall rules, and IPv4/IPv6 addressing is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to operate in a global delivery model. Applicants should be U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S., as sponsorship is not available. The candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts, either from 12 AM to 8 AM or 4 PM to 12 AM Pacific Time. Preference will be given to those located near Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; or Richardson, TX-or those willing to relocate. A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required, although three years of progressive experience may be substituted for each year of missing education.
