System One is seeking experienced Quality Control Supervisors to support a leading manufacturer of industrial thermal solutions. These roles are hands-on leadership positions responsible for overseeing quality operations on the production floor, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Quality Control department, spending approximately 80% of time on the production floor and 20% on administrative tasks.
- Train and mentor quality inspectors; foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Conduct inspections and testing of materials and products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and manage nonconforming product according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to interpret and define product quality criteria.
- Operate precision and non-precision inspection equipment; may also operate overhead or jib cranes.
- Monitor and maintain key performance metrics including delivery accuracy, safety, and inventory accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and submit cost-reduction ideas.
- Ensure department safety and maintain housekeeping standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Supervisor role.
- Experience with calibration of inspection/test equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments and industry welding codes/standards.
- Working knowledge of nondestructive testing and powder coating processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work overtime and maintain regular on-site attendance.
- Occasional lifting and use of cranes may be required.
- Night shift candidates must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Non-Destructive Testing Certification preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
