Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Technician (Level 2) to join our team in the Quad Cities. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will provide both hands-on and remote technical support to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
Provide support for end-user provisioning, including setup and configuration of devices for new team members.
Manage and maintain Active Directory and Office 365 accounts, ensuring secure and efficient user access.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including wireless protocols and cable assemblies.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and address system-wide challenges.
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries and providing clear technical guidance.
Ensure compliance with IT standards and security protocols in all technical operations.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of wireless application protocols (WAP) and wireless personal area networks (WPAN).
Maintain and utilize Norton Utilities for system optimization and reliability.
Document technical processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT support or a related field, with a focus on troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
Familiarity with wireless technologies, including WAP and WPAN, as well as cable assembly maintenance.
Proficiency in tools such as Norton Utilities for system diagnostics and optimization.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both remote and onsite settings.
Preferred certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ to demonstrate technical expertise.
Background in computer science, information technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
