Role: Product Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

W2 Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain and proven experience in business analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the design and delivery of innovative insurance solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for insurance products and solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.

  • Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis for business processes and system issues.

  • Analyze and support the development and enhancement of insurance products (such as life, health, P&C, or commercial lines).

  • Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes.

  • Work with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap, and features.

  • Assist in the development of business cases, BRDs, FRDs, and product documentation.

  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validating that solutions meet business requirements.

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitors to support product strategy and market positioning.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 4 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 3 years in a Product Analyst or Product Owner capacity.

  • Proven experience in the insurance domain (e.g., policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, actuarial, or regulatory compliance).

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, terminology, and lifecycle.

  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, or other BA/PM tools.

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
