Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Cognitive Implementation Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building business process networks using a virtual assistant technology that integrates into other systems with a focus on user experience
- Be able to design and develop conversations that solve internal employee queries, these conversational experiences leverage a high degree of automation including API calls, database queries, and other integrations
- Collaborate with other functions within the bank to validate feasibility, obtain technical requirements, and ensure the process is optimized during the development cycle
- Responsible for the implementation of automated conversational processes into the Virtual Assistant
- Build and maintain a script library that can be used across multiple domains
- Perform unit testing during the development phase ensuring adequate error handling is established
- Provide a timely resolution or workaround when bugs or outages occur
Requirements:
- Hands-on expertise designing and implementing AI conversational experiences via chatbots or virtual assistants, at enterprise scale
- Good understanding of at least 1 scripting language such as JavaScript or Groovy
- Understanding of OOP concepts and excellent coding practices e.g., scalability, documentation
- Be able to convert a conversational flow diagram into code that delivers a chatbot experience
- Experienced in DevOps and agile methodology
- Experience with integration frameworks like Apache CAMEL or similar technologies such as Mulesoft
- Understanding of various web services like REST and/or SOAP and ability to perform testing using software such as Insomnia or Postman
- Understanding of NLP concepts, including intent recognition, entity extraction, and regex
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience with Bank of America
- Previous experience with at least one chatbot framework
- Experience with speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI concepts including LLMs
