Job Details
Duties: Responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting the bank's servers, network infrastructure, and critical systems. The Systems Administrator ensures the security, stability, and optimal performance of all IT operations while delivering outstanding support to internal users. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for Tier 3 Help Desk requests, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical issues. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, installing and configuring hardware and software, managing backups and disaster recovery procedures, maintaining system security, and collaborating on technology projects to support the bank's growth and regulatory compliance.
Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across departments.
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware or other virtualization platforms, network fundamentals, backup solutions, and endpoint security tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and help desk ticketing systems required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Proven experience supporting Tier 3 technical issues is essential.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) are preferred.
