Job Details
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support a leading automotive components client in optimizing their Finished Goods and Just-In-Time (JIT) outbound shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), strong knowledge of outbound logistics, and proven capability in configuring systems for OEM-compliant shipping and cross-border distribution.

Duration: 9 Months
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP EWM configuration and enhancements focused on outbound JIT shipping, cartonization, and OEM-compliant ASN generation.
- Develop and maintain ZPL label printing solutions aligned with OEM requirements.
- Configure and optimize RF transactions, warehouse processes, and outbound staging.
- Integrate EWM with SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
- Set up and manage intercompany deliveries, including cross-border shipments from Mexico to US distribution points.
- Deliver user training, cutover planning, and go-live support for US-based plants and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of outbound logistics operations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of SAP EWM experience, with at least 4 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong functional knowledge of Automotive Finished Goods outbound processes and JIT shipping models.
- Proficient in ASN generation, ZPL label setup, and OEM-compliant shipping documentation.
- Experience with RF setup, cartonization logic, and outbound staging strategies.
- Integration experience with SAP TM, SD, and IDoc/EDI processes.
- Familiarity with intercompany deliveries, especially Mexico-to-US distribution models.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with S/4HANA EWM embedded.
- Spanish language skills (for cross-border coordination).
