RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palo Alto, CA that is seeking a Hardware Engineering TPM.
Responsibilities:
* Plans and executes new device programs spanning EE, ME, and FW domains; Communicates program status and leads teams through key milestones; Develops detailed schedules for device (EE, ME, FW) design and builds
* Partners with cross-functional development teams (HW/SW/Platform/Operations) to create functional plans, translate these into operational processes and program plans, and guides execution; Coordinates with other program managers for cloud SW and Mobile App development
* Identifies and anticipates risks/blockers/issues and works cross functionally to effectively mitigate and resolve with appropriate team members
* Guides the team through decisions, balancing business needs with technical constraints based on program priorities, communicates clearly, and escalates when appropriate
* Assists in program planning to identify timelines and resources needed and works with team leads to close resource gaps
* Owns or contributes to ODM RFQ process, partner onboarding, and development SOWs. Works with finance team to manage spend against plan
* Contributes to the TPM community with best practices, concepts, and templates for others in the team
REQUIREMENTS:
* Four-year or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
* 8+ years of experience managing programs for new hardware device development
* Applied technical expertise in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Development
* Experience taking a portable or wearable consumer electronic or medical device from concept to DVT or later
* MS Project or Smartsheets experience
* PLM & Stage Gates experience
* Engineering Requirements, RFQ, SOW contracts experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
