Foundry Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo, IA
Job Type: 1st and 3rd shift; primarily 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am; overtime possible
Duration : 3 years
Job Description:
As a Foundry OFP Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering projects across the foundry. Operating in a team environment, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, supervisors, and operators within the order fulfilment process.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute engineering projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Work approximately 75% on the shop floor
Required Skills/Experiences:
1+ years of foundry/process engineering
Effective team collaboration
Project management skills
Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Effective communication and problem solving skills
Desired Skills/Experiences:
Manufacturing line/process design experience
Experience with SAP, MES, Creo, AutoCAD
Controls Engineering/safety system design experience
Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Technology ( Mechanical engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering)
Additional Information:
Business casual dress code; metatarsals required first day
Potential travel to other facilities for training
May drive a Gator inside the factory after completing training

Manager open to recent grads with relevant manufacturing internships
Interviews conducted via Teams; position starts onsite
