FPGA DSP Design Engineer

CONTRACT Position: 4-6 Months

Location: Onsite in Princeton, NJ

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior FPGA Design Engineer to join our team in developing advanced electronic systems for cutting-edge applications. This role requires deep expertise in FPGA design, simulation, and integration particularly with Intel s High Performance FPGAs such as Stratix 10 and Agilex. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in FPGA development and a thorough understanding of VHDL, embedded systems, and SoC architectures.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of FPGA design experience
• Knowledge of FPGA design implementation with VHDL design language
• Knowledge of embedded processors, and SOC development for FPGA devices
• Thorough understanding of VHDL, the FPGA design process and the tools used to generate the FPGA designs (VHDL, Synthesis, Place and Route, Simulation, Timing Analysis and Timing closure)
• Experience with FPGA simulation (Modelsim / Questa) to verify performance, then integrate and test the FPGA on the circuit card assembly
• Familiar with embedded logic analyzer (Signaltap / ChipScope)
• Experience with High Performance FPGAs from Intel (Stratix 10 / Agilex)
