Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead who can drive technical development, lead a team of ABAP developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on ABAP expertise along with leadership, design, and code review capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of SAP ABAP developers to deliver technical solutions across SAP modules.
  • Perform requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop and enhance ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), Workflows, OData Services, and ABAP on HANA objects.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Handle complex enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and CDS views.
  • Guide the team on S/4HANA development standards, clean core principles, and extensibility options.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure code quality and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong hands-on coding skills.
  • Expertise in RICEF objects, ABAP Objects, and OOPs concepts.
  • Strong experience with S/4HANA ABAP, CDS views, AMDP, OData Services, and Fiori-related backend development.
  • Experience in Interface Development (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, SOAP/REST services).
  • Knowledge of SAP performance tuning and debugging.
  • Experience with Workflow development and enhancements (preferred).
  • Ability to lead development teams, assign tasks, and manage deliverables.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to SAP BTP, RAP Model, and Cloud Foundry environments.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Functional knowledge in one or more SAP modules (SD/MM/PP/WM/EWM/FICO).
