Job Details

We are seeking to hire a Junior Oracle EPM Admin / Analyst to join our team working on a new multi-year award we have within a Financial Services client located in New York City.

This role may have some remote capabilities, but will primarily require being onsite in NYC.

Being a US Cit and being clearable for a background check is also required.

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

Junior EPM Administrator / Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supports the Sr. Oracle EPM Admin in executing operational tasks and providing technical support to users. This role is ideal for learning platform capabilities while providing essential day-to-day administrative coverage.
  • Executes routine admin tasks such as refreshing data, running calculations, and updating substitution variables.
  • Assists with ongoing maintenance of metadata, mappings, data loads, and automation job schedules.
  • Troubleshoots role-based access issues and supports provisioning processes.
  • Serves as first-line support for basic user inquiries and system troubleshooting.
  • Documents configuration changes, user issues, and resolutions to contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Supports testing and validation activities during patch cycles and quarterly updates.

Role During the Implementation Lifecycle Build Phase:

  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with implementation consultants to understand the design and technical configuration of the system.
  • Begin shadowing development activities to become familiar with object structures (e.g., forms, rules, security).
  • Provide input on naming conventions, admin processes, and internal support models.

Test Phase (SIT & UAT):

  • Support test preparation by validating integration logic, managing test users, and ensuring environments are properly configured.
  • Assist in issue triage and resolution by coordinating with the implementation team and documenting defect resolution steps.
  • Begin learning system support tasks by executing test scripts and validating configurations.

Deployment / Post-Go-Live:

  • Support cutover activities including validation of metadata, integrations, and user access.
  • Assume full ownership of admin tasks previously led by the implementation team.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot early production issues, escalate as needed, and document resolutions.
  • Lead hypercare support, track user feedback, and participate in enhancement backlog prioritization.
  • Prepare and maintain post-go-live support documentation, including system runbooks, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Transition into the steady-state administrator role with responsibility for ongoing system health and incremental improvement.
