Developer IV - Data Warehouse

SYSTEMTEC seeks an Developer for our Data Warehouse team in Columbia, SC. Candidates must have work experience with JCL, Mainframe (Cobol and/or SAS to utilities and Java). Mainframe utility programs like IDCAMS and SORT & Endevor. Data warehouses, Medicare (especially Medicare data) experience.

Partial Onsite - At least three days a week onsite and as needed if local.
Will look at remote candidates as well

Responsibilities of the Developer:

• Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
• Required Work Experience: 6 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience
• JCL, Mainframe (Cobol and/or SAS to utilities and Java). Mainframe utility programs like IDCAMS and SORT & Endevor
• DB2 Connect, Experience with file transfers using Connect:Direct or FTP
• Experience with DB2 SQL, file editing applications like File Master, Data warehouses, Medicare (especially Medicare data)

Requirements of the Developer:

• Run, monitor, and maintain existing processes for daily/monthly data loading.
• Work assigned days as Hot Seat routing new customer requests to the team
• Work on mainframe recoding project to use utilities and modern languages to move data from mainframe to DB2/Data Warehouse
• Not looking for a COBOL developer or SAS coder
