Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Eastover, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of desktop and laptop systems, providing technical support, and assisting with software installations and troubleshooting. This role requires a proactive individual comfortable working in a dynamic environment, including industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
Upgrade existing desktop and laptop systems to Windows 11 using the corporate image, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
Configure new desktops and laptops with the corporate image and user-specific software based on requests.
Address ServiceDesk tickets, providing support for application, PC, and printer issues, while performing basic network troubleshooting when necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Work effectively within a mill environment, adhering to safety protocols and wearing required safety equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.

Proficiency in computer hardware configuration and management.

Strong knowledge of Windows 11 installation and maintenance.

Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform for ticket management and tracking.

Ability to troubleshoot network, PC, and printer issues effectively.

Comfortable working in industrial environments and adhering to safety guidelines.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to interact with users and team members effectively.
