Job Title: Platform Architect

Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tanzu/Platform Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and scaling container platforms, particularly with Tanzu and Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). This role involves leading the design, validation, and implementation of container platforms to ensure they meet organizational needs and are scalable for future workloads.

Responsibilities:
Lead migration efforts of Tanzu to Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP).
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of container platforms.
Address complex design issues, including container registries, mirroring, and network configurations.
Provide guidance and expertise on container orchestration, automation, and policy setting.
Ensure the platform is designed to scale and accommodate future workloads.
Work closely with developers to ensure the platform meets their needs and simplifies underlying complexities.

Skills Required:
Extensive experience with Tanzu Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of container orchestration and automation.
Proficiency in designing scalable container platforms.
Ability to address complex design issues and provide innovative solutions.
Strong collaboration skills to work with infrastructure and application teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform
Experience with container registries, mirroring, and network configurations.
Familiarity with CNCF projects and their integration into container platforms.
Ability to lead design validation sessions and provide expert guidance.
