Job Description:
Snapshot (what you ll own)
- Lead SAP TM design/config for multi-site transportation flows (inbound, outbound, parcel/LTL/TL).
- Build and stabilize integrations between SAP TM Blue Yonder (interface mapping, data models, error handling).
- Drive process improvements across planning, execution, and freight settlement.
- Partner with IT, carriers, and business ops to keep data flowing and issues down.
Scope & Deliverables
- TM config & functional specs (rates, planning profiles, charge calc, freight settlement).
- Integration design/mapping for SAP TM Blue Yonder (API/EDI/file), plus monitoring playbook.
- Cutover plan, test scripts (SIT/UAT), and hypercare support with clear SLAs.
- Knowledge transfer: runbooks + support docs.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into TM config and integration specs.
- Map master/transactional data (locations, resources, freight units, bookings, events).
- Configure planning & execution (optimizer params, carrier selection, tendering, track/trace).
- Troubleshoot interface failures (IDocs/APIs), triage defects, and drive root-cause fixes.
- Produce status, RAID, and throughput metrics for stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 8+ years SAP Transportation Management with hands-on configuration.
- Proven Blue Yonder (BY) integration experience (mapping, testing, support).
- Solid supply chain domain chops (carrier mgmt, rating, tender, freight audit/settlement).
- Strong integration background (IDoc/OData/REST/EDI 204/210/214 or similar).
- Clear communicator; owns deliverables end-to-end.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with BY TMS/WMS/Luminate Control Tower events.
- Exposure to SAP EWM, GTS, or IBP handoffs.
- Job scheduling/monitoring (Control-M, SAP PO/CPI, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
- Performance tuning for high-volume TM scenarios.
