Project Manager

Project manager role with finance domain.

Responsibilities

  • Actively create and maintain the culture within teams based on organisation and Agile leadership behaviours
  • Facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Ensure that the backlog is refined and prioritised in line with business priorities and outcomes are articulated and demonstrated to stakeholders
  • Support teams to remove impediments, manage dependencies, and build effective relationships with other teams
  • Monitor team performance through the teams, delivery boards, and metrics dashboards whilst facilitating continuous improvement initiatives that will allow the team to work smarter, and more effectively
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members to help drive Agile maturity
  • Assist the Product Owner to manage and prioritize work through the backlog
  • Review and monitor work items to ensure that status is accurate and updated as appropriate
  • Maintain and update metrics and artifacts to ensure work status is transparent to the Product Owner and other stakeholders and business outcomes are clearly demonstrated
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external teams that form part of end-to-end delivery
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and best practices
  • Drive planning, projectmanagement and execution for product releases and roadmaps
  • Drive consensus and add value on technical decisions and engineering practices are followed as defined by published standards and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to help deliver high quality results
  • Provide leadership, managementand drive the execution of sub-work stream initiatives within the overall Alpha Platform workstreams
  • Drive execution through stringent projectmanagement and close attention to detail of sub-streams in the overall Alpha workstream
  • Solution impediments with stakeholders, drive projectprogress, escalate risks, issues, and solutions
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve program goals
  • Provide feedback to internal team regarding progress

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Scrum Master experience in an enterprise cloud environment
  • Scrum Master certification
  • PMP Certification and/or consulting experience a plus
