Position: Systems Integration and Test Engineer
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join the Launcher Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) team supporting the Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) Common Fire Control System (CFCS) Block III Software Qualification Testing.
This role involves hands-on integration and testing of launcher systems in various environments, including integration facilities, vehicle test tracks, and field-testing locations. The position requires collaboration with a small team to ensure successful system qualification and performance validation.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and update launcher integration test plans and procedures based on system requirements.
Perform integration testing with M270A1/A2 and HIMARS (M142) launchers.
Operate test equipment and analyze data collected during testing.
Prepare test plans, data packages, and final reports.
Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and technical presentations.
Assist in failure investigations and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies.
Participate in ground and flight tests at designated test ranges.
Work in diverse environments, including integration facilities, vehicle tracks, and outdoor test sites.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Strong understanding of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills
Ability to translate system requirements into test requirements.
Experience with M270/HIMARS launchers.
Familiarity with GMLRS/PrSM/MFOM programs.
Knowledge of LINUX and data reduction tools.
Understanding of Agile processes and experience using JIRA for software tracking.
