Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a SDET.

Responsibilities:
* Leading the build and implementation of automated testing frameworks
* Crafting and maintaining comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and successfully implement test solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or Primary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* Expert-level knowledge of Java and Java-based frameworks, with the ability to develop Microservices independently
* Proficient in understanding end-to-end software flow and using Java 8 and beyond
* Extensive experience in building automation tests using RESTAssured and working with AWS and related SDKs
* Preferred experience with Cucumber, Karate, and Intellij
* Strong capability in devising test strategies and processes, delivering solutions in an Agile environment
* At least 4 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications through Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and uDeploy, and employing log aggregation tools such as Splunk
* Hands-on experience with virtual/mock assets and a passion for crafting outstanding end-to-end customer experiences
* A multi-stack engineer with a breadth of knowledge in various technologies and test automation frameworks
* An upbeat pursuit of new technologies and their adoption, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
