Job Title: Business Process Reengineering Specialist
Location: Lansing MI

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) to support an upcoming IT project, focusing 80% on requirements gathering and 20% on developing reference materials for business analysts, quality assurance teams, and business SMEs. This role supports project delivery and ongoing production support efforts, particularly through effective use of Azure DevOps.
The BPRS will analyze current and future-state business processes, gather testable business requirements, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure seamless communication between business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and document clear, testable business requirements.
- Analyze and reengineer business processes (as-is/to-be) to support solution design and implementation.
- Create and maintain Agile artifacts such as user stories, epics, features, and backlogs in Azure DevOps.
- Guide and mentor BA, QA, and SME staff in tools, standards, and best practices.
- Develop content and training/reference materials using provided templates and tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams, developers, DBAs, and QA testers to ensure mutual understanding of project goals.
- Contribute to Build vs. Buy analysis and ensure adherence to information governance policies.
- Support product roadmap creation and project planning aligned with Agile and SEM methodologies.
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and resolve critical IT issues related to BPRS functions.
