Description:
*Onsite in Cincinnati, OH*

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer III to join our agile squad. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing software solutions and participating in all agile ceremonies, driving activities from design to delivery. You will follow best practices and standards, contributing to communities of practice to continuously refine and document these standards

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $72 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Implement new features while continuously improving the quality of technical products and applications.

Provide technical expertise as a developer on an agile squad.

Develop software that meets code quality standards and metrics.

Practice test-driven development.

Participate in communities of practice by following standards, reviewing others' code, and sharing knowledge.

Stay current on IT trends relevant to your area of practice. Assist with problem resolution for end users and customers.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required:

9+ years of IT work experience relevant to the position.

Knowledge of object-oriented and functional software design.

Familiarity with RESTful networking.

Experience with Git and GitHub.

Understanding of Software Development Methodologies.

Understanding security best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills:

JAVA Development with a focus on Swing

Database and SQL knowledge

JavaScript Python

Web Development (HTML/CSS)

AWS

NetBeans (IDE)

Eclipse (IDE)

Visual Studio (IDE)

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

Angular

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
