About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and innovative AI Engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, including emerging Agentic AI workflows. This role blends leadership in AI strategy with hands-on responsibilities in data engineering, ensuring the seamless integration of AI models into our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data pipeline best practices and a track record of delivering high-impact AI solutions. Ability to learn and evolve with changing landscape is a must. Seeking a candidate with a strong academic background with a desire to innovate. This is a hybrid role based in our Warren, NJ office (3 days in office/2 days remote).

Qualifications, Education & Experience:
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $225,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Define and execute AI solutions, focusing on innovative, agentic AI workflows that enable autonomous or semi-autonomous decision-making.
- Oversee the full AI lifecycle-from data ingestion and model training to deployment and monitoring-to ensure high-impact, scalable solutions.
- Continuously refine AI workflows, leveraging best practices in model iteration and optimization.
- Design, prototype, and implement AI agents that can learn, adapt, and interact with users or systems with minimal human intervention.
- Utilize reinforcement learning, advanced machine learning techniques, and robust data pipelines to power autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems.
- Build and maintain scalable data architectures in support of AI models, ensuring robust data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science; a master's in Computer Science or Data Science is preferred
- You have advanced proficiency in Python
- You bring hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science
- You've worked with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LlamaIndex, and MCP-experience here is highly desirable
- You understand ML algorithms, feature engineering, and data preprocessing techniques
- You've deployed models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- You're skilled in advanced SQL, including complex querying and performance tuning
- You're familiar with cloud services-especially Microsoft Azure
- You've conducted significant research that showcases your analytical thinking and ability to learn quickly, which may substitute for some professional experience
