Under direct supervision, the Technical Analyst I installs, maintains and supports enterprise computer hardware and software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Installs, maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, and other network-enabled devices.
  • Researches, diagnoses and resolves Tier II problems requiring extensive analysis, application of multiple technical skills in desktop operating systems, applications, hardware, network connectivity.
  • Installs new and updated software onto end-user systems through automated scripting; perform quality check on individual systems.
  • Performs vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments.
  • Configures and supports security tools, including, but not limited to, firewalls, anti-virus software and patch management systems.
  • Analyzes service and system reports; perform problem isolation.
  • Provides on-call support for escalated production issues on a rotating schedule.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to desktop support procedures and services.
  • Performs installations, adds, moves, and changes for PCs, monitors, printers and related peripherals
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve customer technology incidents and requests in a timely manner to comply with Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide technical support for Office 365 applications and administration features including, but not limited to: Exchange, Intune, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Follows Incident Management Procedures and assists with Customer Communication for High Priority issues affecting the enterprise
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • This position requires two to four years of related information technology experience with an advanced knowledge of the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office products and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of VMWare is also desired.
  • A minimum typing speed of 35 wpm is required.
  • This position requires excellent communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills.
  • In addition, this position must be able to handle multiple projects and work successfully within strict deadlines.


Educational Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or GED. A degree in Computer Information Systems is preferred.
