Tyler Technologies, a leader in digital government solutions, is looking for a motivated university student to join our Louisiana State Enterprise team as a Junior Developer. We provide modern, efficient solutions that help streamline Louisiana's state government processes, creating a more connected and transparent government for our citizens.

Our team is a dynamic group of developers, project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts working on innovative, real-world projects. As a Junior Developer, you'll gain hands-on experience in front-end development by contributing to the creation and enhancement of websites, digital forms, and business applications that make a real impact.

This role is ideal for students who are eager to learn, self-driven, and passionate about development. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential. Experience with C# or a strong desire to grow in C# development is highly desired.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Support development tasks, including work with C# and .NET-based systems.
  • Participate in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of websites and digital applications.
  • Collaborate closely with senior developers, quality assurance analysts, project managers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback in team discussions around user experience, accessibility, and system improvements.
  • Follow best practices for code quality, version control, and documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries like jQuery and Bootstrap is a plus.
  • Experience with C# or a strong interest and motivation to develop C# skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, initiative, and eagerness to learn and grow as a developer.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What We Offer
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate your academic schedule.
  • Hands-on experience working on real-world projects that directly impact the community.
  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced software developers and project teams.
  • A fun, dynamic work environment that encourages learning and professional development.
  • Opportunities to sharpen your technical skills and build a strong professional network.

If you are excited about building digital solutions and growing your development skills in a real-world environment, we want to hear from you! Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in the Junior Developer position.
