Salesforce System Admin
Introduction
This position serves as a hands-on System Administrator for HHSC Salesforce Orgs. The role involves setting up new Orgs from scratch, integrating with 3rd party tools, migrating data, using CI/CD frameworks, troubleshooting systems, and other administrative tasks as needed. Experience with Agile methodologies is required, and availability for 24/7 support is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and oversee the support of Salesforce Orgs and their environments
- Implement and improve security policies and practices
- Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process
- Handle data migrations, data quality, and systems integrations
- Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to system software and hardware incidents
- Provide guidance on technology solutions
- Integrate 3rd party applications using various authentication protocols
- Write Apex programming, Visual force pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and lightning web components
- Utilize Salesforce integration tools like MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, and Jitterbit
- Implement solutions using configurations such as Flows, process builders, and workflow rules

Terms of Service
Services are expected to start on January 19, 2026, and be completed by August 31, 2026. Total estimated hours per candidate shall not exceed 1,560 hours. The service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended with written agreement from both parties.
Work Hours and Location
Services shall be provided during normal business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays. The primary work location will be at 701 W. 51st, Austin, Texas 78751. The position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework, with some travel expenses at the candidate's or vendor's expense. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Thurs & Fri) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). **Subject to change per the hiring team**
