JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Title: Big Data Engineer/Developer
Location: Rutherford, NJ 07070
Duration: 12 Months (Long Term Assignment)
Qualification:
- Minimum 15+ years of data analytics experience in core development using Python and database technologies.
- Strong hands-on Python coding skill with experience in Bigdata environments, intellectual curiosity to stay abreast of technological and data analytics.
- Strong knowledge of PySpark, SQL/PLSQL, and Kafka.
- Proven track record of building and deploying data analytics solutions in production environments.
- Proficient in proactive risk mitigation, manage project pipeline to ensure prioritization and required resourcing mix.
- At least 8 years of people management experience.
- Consistently sets high performance standards with right mentorship & coaching interventions for team.
- Ownership & accountability of career progression, performance management, IDP and conflict management. Retain talent, manage attrition, and career mobility.
- Successful candidate will have a demonstrable analytics problem solving and has the ability to deliver projects in a challenging environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicates seamlessly across team members / stakeholders / cross-functional teams.
- Strong capability to influence business outcomes / decisions in collaboration with AIM leadership & business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in partner meetings while leading from the front to drive innovative solutions with excellent stakeholder management.
- Strong coordination and project management skills; must be able to define business requirements and create robust technical and process documentation to support activities.
- Identify right skillset requirement for business needs, effective utilization of analytics resources.
- Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems. Excellent analytical, technical, and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data.
- An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders. Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities.
Education:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
