Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) Specialist with deep expertise in TWS 10, AWS migration, advanced administration, and scheduling solutions. The role involves designing, configuring, migrating, and supporting TWS platforms in AWS, while ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong UNIX, shell scripting, DB2, and networking skills, along with ITIL and Tivoli certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) platform including TDWC, MDM, backup MDM, JSC, and agent management.
Build and maintain IWS/TWS platform with high availability in AWS.
Manage and support Dynamic Workload Console.
Maintain and support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Swing environments in AWS.
Lead TWS migration projects including AIX to Linux and DB2 migration.
Establish DR strategies in AWS and ensure readiness.
Perform advanced TWS administration: performance tuning, test case building, configuration, and customization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues beyond L1/L2 support.
Provide platform administration support, including vendor liaison for upgrades, security patches, and enhancements.
Manage scheduling objects, alerts, calendar configurations, and job execution accounts.
Deploy and manage workload agents across servers.
Support BCP/DR processes and ensure compliance.
Provide on-call support for batch scheduling using Tivoli.
Stay current with Tivoli product offerings, patches, and upgrades, making recommendations to management.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) administration and support.
Advanced knowledge of TWS 10, TDWC, MDM, backup MDM, JSC, and agent management.
Strong UNIX/Linux expertise with shell scripting abilities.
Hands-on experience with AWS migration and high-availability architecture.
Strong understanding of DB2 database technologies and migration processes.
Experience with WebSphere and network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with ServiceNow application for ITSM processes.
IBM Tivoli Certification and ITIL Certification preferred.
Experience supporting MS Windows and UNIX environments.
Strong problem-solving, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
