Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne Lead with strong functional and technical knowledge to support and enhance the client s ERP environment. This role involves leading the day-to-day support and continuous improvement of the JDE system, including issue resolution, small enhancements, and integration oversight. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business and IT teams, manage offshore support teams, and align JDE capabilities with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary functional and technical JDE lead overseeing the ERP landscape.
- Lead and manage JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) support activities, including incident resolution and enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to gather requirements and drive improvements.
- Handle technical components such as CNC, UDOs, E1 Page Customizations, and orchestrations (preferred).
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose permanent solutions or process enhancements.
- Coordinate and lead onshore/offshore support teams, ensuring workload balance, timely resolution, and SLA compliance.
- Guide and execute minor and major enhancements from design to deployment.
- Ensure thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and change control processes.
- Monitor system health, coordinate patching, upgrades, and integration updates following IT change management protocols.
- Support integrations with third-party systems, including OT/field systems like Maximo or SCADA.
- Participate in governance and planning meetings, offering strategic input into the client s IT roadmap and JDE modernization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1), with recent experience as a lead.
- Strong functional knowledge in at least one JDE module:
- Financials (GL/AP/AR)
- Distribution (Sales/Procurement)
- Manufacturing
- Technical experience with CNC, E1 page customizations, UDOs, and orchestrations (preferred but not mandatory).
- Hands-on experience supporting JDE in a production or managed services environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident and change management, and service tools like ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client engagement skills.
- Experience with SLA-driven support environments.
