Business Systems Analyst
Location: Remote |
Duration: 1-Year Contract+
Title: Business Systems Analyst Disentanglement & TSA Exit
Backfill Note: This role is a backfill for current candidate. Our current BSA, is stepping into the Architect position, creating a need for a new BSA to support the team moving forward.

Job Description
We're looking for a technically strong and detail-driven Business Systems Analyst to support the disentanglement of enterprise systems and applications as part of the 3M Solventum TSA exit. This role focuses on analyzing entanglements across a multi-ERP landscape and driving system transitions from 3M infrastructure to Solventum.
Key Responsibilities:
" Analyze integrations and entanglements across ERP systems and platforms such as SAP, JDE, PeopleSoft, A+, OneStream, Oracle Financials, Salesforce, and Microsoft D365.
" Use tools like GitHub Copilot and other AI-based code analysis platforms to trace integration logic and data dependencies.
" Conduct impact assessments and define TSA exit readiness.
" Partner with architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define exit strategies and remediation plans.
" Support infrastructure migration efforts and integration hand-offs.
" Maintain architectural diagrams, data lineage documentation, and remediation tracking.
" Monitor progress and provide updates on disentanglement milestones, funding, and timelines.
Required Qualifications:
" 10+ years in application integration and enterprise systems architecture.
" Experience using AI-based code analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
" Solid understanding of integration protocols and middleware (e.g., APIs, SFTP, WebMethods, MuleSoft).
" Familiarity with multiple ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, JDE, Salesforce, and others.
" Hands-on TSA exit planning and infrastructure migration experience.
" Ability to document technical flows, architecture, and resolution plans clearly.
" Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
" Understanding of data movement from ERP systems to data lakes/warehouses.
Preferred Qualifications:
" Prior experience with 3M systems or large-scale enterprise environments.
" Familiarity with global data standards and foundational data dependencies.
" Experience using entanglement trackers, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
