Stefanini Group is hiring!Stefanini is looking for a Hardware Senior Principal Consultant in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Onsite role).For quick Apply, please reach out to Ravi Singh: / Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions Uses independent judgment to accomplish goals and objectives Has insight into industry trends and communicates vision to guide organizational strategy and long-range planning Lends research and contributes to evaluations, project plans and budgets for new products or updates existing products Acts as consultant on critical projects that impact long term organizational goals and objectives Leads teams, gives technical guidance and communicates with senior management on progress Identifies or creates solutions that are likely to contribute to the development of new company concepts Expected to set standards and achieve cost targets for product cost through proper design choices, component selection or supplier selection Demonstrated expertise in competitive analysis May actively seek customer input and take responsibility for internal and external customer situations Determines requirements and functional specifications for entire system, under only consultative direction. Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineer come up with layout strategies to complex multi-layer boards with RF, High-Speed Digital and Analog components.Work closely with board shop and contract manufacturer to ensure closure of DfM, DfA, and DfTGenerate PCB output files for board shop and contract manufacturers. (ODB++, Gerber, Assembly Drawing, Fab notes, drill files etc..)Ensure proper handoff between eCAD and mCAD.Maintain PCB design flow.

5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Working knowledge and experience with layout software (Cadence DHL Schematic Capture and Allegro Layout)Deep understanding on how to layout RF, High-Speed Digital and Analog components.Strong knowledge and experience of electrical constraints sets principals and how to apply them. (Allegro Constraint Manager)Familiarity with Allegro Scripting. Desirable Requirements:IPC circuit board designer certification (CID or CID+).Knowledge and experience in schematic symbol and PCB footprint generation.
