Position Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, thrive under pressure, and have hands-on experience with desktop support tasks including system rebuilds, data backups, and working with large datasets in Excel. Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform is essential.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, empathy, and timely resolution of issues.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Utilize the ServiceNow platform to manage, track, and document support tickets and resolutions.
- Perform computer rebuilds following established procedures and checklists.
- Backup and restore user data within the Windows OS environment.
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze large datasets for reporting and troubleshooting purposes.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain inventory and asset tracking for desktop hardware and software.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform or similar ticketing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially working with large datasets.
- Experience with Windows OS, including data backup and system rebuild procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate or enterprise IT environment.
