Job Description:
A large federal ERP modernization program is seeking a Senior SAP Analyst FM to provide expert-level business process guidance and configuration support. The program involves optimizing financial management, property accountability, HR, and workload management systems through full ERP implementation at the enterprise level.
The selected candidate will support the configuration of SAP Funds Management (FM) for core financial processes including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, and cash management. This position supports mission-critical ERP modules and requires a strong ability to work collaboratively within a federal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- (25%) Provide expert-level business process guidance for SAP FM requirements and solution design
- (25%) Configure SAP FM modules for processes such as Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, and AVC Control
- (20%) Manage financial posting periods and execute period-end closing tasks
- (15%) Enable integrated financial data flow across SAP system modules
- (15%) Act as a technical SME across various ERP project assignments
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with SME-level expertise in Funds Management
- Proven ability to configure and support SAP FM processes (Budgeting, AVC, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills
- Must be eligible for DoD clearance
- Experience working in federal or public sector environments
