Job Details
Role: Software Engineer (Python with React)
Location: San Francisco, CA (100% Remote - *Must be able to work PST hours, candidates located near San Francisco a plus)

Duration: Contract 6 months

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering and other EPD functions (product/design) and GTM functions (sales/marketing/support) to understand goals, solve problems, and deliver solutions.
- Work on Truework s main backend codebase including design, coding, testing, maintenance, and integrations to third party sources.
- Contribute to day-to-day activities like strategy ideation, pull requests, code reviews, etc.
- Understand the desired outcome of your projects, take ownership of the best way to deliver that outcome, and be accountable for achieving the outcome.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack Software Engineer with a focus on the backend.
- Substantial experience developing Python/Django applications.
- Strong experience with React and JavaScript.
- Experience with big tech, REST APIs, and SCRUD programming.
- Someone who is smart and talented with high agency and proactivity, need to be able to solve problems and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight.
- Someone who can work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, startup-like environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
Interview Process:
- 30-minute technical interview with VP of Engineering and Security
- 30-minute interview with Founder
