Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Application Support Engineer to join our project team. The primary responsibility is to support and maintain applications
hosted on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance. While the focus is on application and infrastructure support, the role may also
involve minor bug fixes and quick enhancements in Java or .NET applications when required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational support for applications deployed on Microsoft Azure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Azure services, integrations, and application performance.
Perform minor fixes or patches in Java and .NET applications when necessary.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, scaling, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security, performance, and scalability.
Document incidents, solutions, and create knowledge base/runbooks for recurring issues.
Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotation for critical incidents.
Required Skills & Experience
2-3 years of professional experience in application support or cloud operations.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including:
Azure App Services
Azure Functions
Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
Azure Storage
Azure Active Directory
Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging)
Good knowledge of Java and .NET to debug and implement small fixes.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
Solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents effectively.
