Role: L1& L2 Datacenter Technician
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 3- or 6-months Contract to Hire
Addtional Input:
- Candidate has to travel to Google's DC colocations, colocation is within 20-30 miles, that will be consider as regular commute, if it's more than that, client will cover for that travel expenses.
- 1 Interview with NTT People, usually they make decision. Some situation 2nd round will happen
- Aug 11th
- Interview will happen within 24 hrs notice.
- For L1, if we find candidate with 1-2 years of cabling experience (any data center or structure cable knowledge) is fine now enough (DC exp is not required). Need fresh blood, who's ready to learn.

L1 DC tech:
Focus: Entry-level support and hands-on hardware tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with moves, adds, and changes (MAC) of equipment and cabling.
- Perform basic hardware tasks such as racking and stacking servers and network gear.
- Run copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documenting connections.
- Monitor environmental conditions and follow operational checklists.
- Escalate issues to higher-level techs as needed, while learning systems and procedures.

L2 DC tech:
Focus: Intermediate technical support with more autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead MAC operations and ensure compliance with cabling and racking standards.
- Run copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documenting connections.
- Independently perform racking, stacking, and structured cabling for new deployments.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues, including fiber diagnostics.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades.
