3Core Systems is looking for Data Engineer with Matillion for one of our clients in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Role: Data Engineer with Matillion
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid 3days/week)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using Matillion to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake and Databricks platforms.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud-based environments.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all ETL processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Leverage Databricks for advanced data processing, transformation, and analytics tasks.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning in Snowflake.
  • Document ETL processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ETL tools and cloud data platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in ETL development, with hands-on expertise in Matillion.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Strong experience with Databricks for data processing, Spark-based transformations, and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with writing complex queries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and their data services.
  • Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
