Position: Salesforce Program Architect

Location: Houston TX/Remote

Job Description:

Executive Pre-Sales Engagement

  • Lead executive-level discovery conversations with client stakeholders to understand goals, pain points, and business value drivers
  • Facilitate solutioning workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and roadmap conversations with C-level, IT, and business teams
  • Translate customer challenges into compelling solution narratives, value propositions, and technical roadmaps
  • Align proposals with customer transformation goals and priorities (e.g., growth, efficiency, compliance, CX)

Solution Architecture & SOW Creation

  • Own the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, etc.
  • Define scalable architectures that include integrations, data strategy, security, and user experience
  • Produce clear, detailed statements of work (SOWs), estimates, delivery models, and assumptions
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment

Technical Program Leadership

  • Oversee program delivery from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment to business outcomes
  • Manage risks, scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication across workstreams
  • Drive Agile practices, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration
  • Ensure governance, release management, and post-deployment success metrics

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • 7+ years in Salesforce architecture, development, or solution consulting
  • Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, SAP), security (Shield, SSO), data migration, and cloud architecture
  • Ability to balance declarative and custom solutions, leveraging best practices in scalability and performance

Customer-Facing & Strategic Skills

  • Proven ability to lead executive discovery, strategy, and roadmap sessions
  • Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, SOW writing, and pricing models
  • Comfortable navigating both technical stakeholders and business executives
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills

Delivery Leadership

  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in complex enterprise environments
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Jira, Confluence, DevOps, Copado, Git
  • Ability to translate vision into execution while keeping teams aligned and on track

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, CPQ Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect
  • Project/Program Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Practitioner
  • Previous experience working in a Salesforce consulting partner or system integrator environment
