Job Description:
  • The Data Architect will be responsible for leading data architecture services in collaboration with Product Owners and Technical Leads.
  • This role involves designing and implementing scalable data architectures, managing enterprise-level databases, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • The candidate will mentor project teams, contribute to architectural standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop the overall data architecture plan, structure, and strategy for managing large-scale enterprise databases.
  • Perform data analytics to assess impacts, risks, and enhance user experience.
  • Provision and configure databases using appropriate technologies that meet business needs.
  • Maintain, optimize, and secure databases, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
  • Manage daily database operations including monitoring, tuning, backups, and access control.
  • Guide and collaborate with project teams on the implementation of platforms, products, and services.
  • Mentor and coach project teams on data and database-related deliverables.
  • Contribute to the vision and continuous improvement of data architecture standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Participate in the evolution of project deliverables in response to emerging technical and business needs.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Data Engineer working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise databases in complex environments.
  • 8+ years of experience with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft technology stack or equivalent development platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • 2+ years of experience working on the same enterprise project.
Nice to Have:
  • 5+ years of experience transforming legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases.
  • 1+ year of experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for data and database management.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect in an enterprise IT environment.
  • 8+ years of experience working with MS SQL Server and Azure SQL Server.
  • 3+ years of experience with structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, and data governance tools.
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with teams applying UX design or human-centered design approaches.
  • 4+ years of experience using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Mandatory completion of training in FOIP, Security/Cybersecurity, Information Management, and Respect in the Workplace (to be completed post-hire).
