Job Details
Title: Performance Test Lead K6 & LoadRunner
Location: Ashburn, VA (5 days onsite)
Employment Type: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead performance testing efforts for critical applications, ensuring high scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using K6 and LoadRunner.
- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Define performance test strategy, plans, and reporting structure.
- Mentor and guide team members on performance testing best practices and tools.
- Communicate test results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong hands-on experience in K6 and LoadRunner for performance testing.
- Proven experience in performance test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis.
- Excellent understanding of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), APIs, databases, and application architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present findings.
- Prior experience in mentoring or leading a performance testing team is a plus.
- Experience in CI/CD integration of performance testing tools is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in performance testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and monitoring tools.
