Title: Performance Test Lead K6 & LoadRunner

Location: Ashburn, VA (5 days onsite)
Employment Type: 6+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead performance testing efforts for critical applications, ensuring high scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using K6 and LoadRunner.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Define performance test strategy, plans, and reporting structure.
• Mentor and guide team members on performance testing best practices and tools.
• Communicate test results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in K6 and LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Proven experience in performance test planning, scripting, execution, and analysis.
• Excellent understanding of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), APIs, databases, and application architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present findings.
• Prior experience in mentoring or leading a performance testing team is a plus.
• Experience in CI/CD integration of performance testing tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in performance testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and monitoring tools.
