JUNIOR APPLICATIONS ENGIENER

Seeking candidate to support and assist remote FAE team, cross-functional teams to prepare, create setups and test features in lab.

Develop, build & test setups to execute customer demos and trials.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in lab
Manage inventory, logistics, schedules , shipping/receiving, IP addresses, S/W versions, etc.
Support customer demos, lab trials, field trials, and early deployments in Nokia labs & partners labs
Automation: Develop tools, write scripts which facilitates smooth execution of customer demos and trials

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Optical Communication.
BS with 3 years or MS with 1 year of hands-on experience in optical network industry preferably in optical transceivers.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Good Knowledge on coherent optical networks:
Knowledge on transceivers/pluggable is a plus
Proficiency in L2 and L3 routers and switches
Strong proficiency in Python programming language
Familiarity in other programming languages such as Java, MATLAB, VB.net, C#, and JavaScript
Experience with SSH, Telnet, API based automation and testing and tools
Hands-on experience working in lab environment turning up HW setups.
Experience with Unix/Linux environments is a plus.
Experience with test plan creation and execution for optical system trials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
