The Software Engineer will join our Research Custom Apps unit at Mayo Clinic to work on various projects involving front-end, back-end, database, and reporting technologies. He/She will primarily work with the team lead for work assignments and collaborate with the business users and other IT technical teams to gather requirements or additional information. This person will be responsible for developing, testing, documenting, and supporting web and mobile applications using a range of tools and platforms. You will also be required to provide on-call support as needed.
Required (3-5 years of experience):
-Front-end: React and React Native.-Languages: .NET, C#
-OS: Linux, Unix, Windows
-Back-end: REST API, Microservices, Node.js
-Databases: MSSQL, Postgres
-Tools: ADO, Visual Studio, Jetbrains Suite, Playstore Apps
-Documentation: Functional, Technical specifications and support documentation
Desired/Preferred:
-Front-end: Angular, Vue,-Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
-Databases: SQL, NonSQL- MongoDB or CouchDB, MS-Access
-Tools: SSMS, SSIS
-Reporting: SSRS, Power-BI, and Tableau
-Platforms: Azure, Google Cloud Platform
-OS: Linux, Unix, Windows
-General: Microsoft Office, SharePoint
Equipment (Laptop and Docking station) will be provided.
Interview Process:
1. 90-minute Teams meeting for a proctored Codility test.
2. 60-minute panel interview
Required Education:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
OR
-Associates’ degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with an additional two (2) years of experience as described below:
-Working knowledge and experience of Software Engineering with a minimum of internships and a minimum of one (1) year of experience.
OR
-Two (2) years of experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (C, C++, Golang, Java, C# etc.).
