Job Title: Informatica CDI/CAI Developer
Location: Vancouver, BC (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer with hands-on experience in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based data integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between on-premise and cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica CDI for batch and real-time processing.
  • Build and manage API-based integrations and event-driven workflows using Informatica CAI.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT mappings, transformations, and task flows within the IDMC platform.
  • Connect to and integrate data from various source systems (on-premise and cloud) to target data warehouses/applications.
  • Perform data profiling, quality checks, and ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and application integration issues.
  • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed integrations.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica CDI and/or CAI.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with API concepts (REST/SOAP) and web services.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Informatica IDMC certifications (CDI, CAI).
  • Experience with Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
  • Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices for cloud data integration.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
