About this Position:
Job Title: Google Analytics Manager
TASKS:
-
Define best practice approaches for analyzing online user behavior, configuring web analytics technology, and for interpreting data.

Determine objectives, methods and tools needed for iterative testing and optimization.

Write analytics technical and functional requirements for public-facing digital properties.
-
Create customized JavaScript or JSON code as needed for site analytics.
-
Lead regular tagging audits, providing best practices, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy.
-
Provide site analytics technical expertise, estimates, and recommendations to the development lead and/or project manager.
-
Communicate risks and issues in a clear and timely manner.
-
Run regularly scheduled web analytics reports that contribute meaningful analysis and actionable insights to improve user experience.

Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting for internal clients as requested.
-
Create documentation such as data dictionaries and analytics requirements.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
-
8 years reporting, and technical background Experience with Google Analytics (GA360, GA4), and Web tag managers (GTM, Tealium).

4-5+ years' experience managing enterprise-class web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 360, GA4, Web Trends); expertise with web analytics platform migrations highly valuable.

Proficiency developing custom reports, advanced segments, and complex goals, and the interpretation and presentation of findings.

Intermediate Excel skills and an ability to integrate disparate data sets into clear, concise reports and insights.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership, experts and decision makers.

Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

At least 8 years of digital software development.

Passion for optimizing for best user experience using data and evidence.

Experience with A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practice.
