4 Days in the office from any of our locations in RI,Iselin NJ, MA, or Phoenix AZ and couple other locations

Role is not relocation eligible.

As a Software Engineer II - Android Developer, you will work alongside and mentor a group of talented engineers as you pursue a broad range of initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, modifying, and implementing technology solutions and building modern and architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet mission driven strategic business goals. By leveraging your technical skills and thirst for innovation, you will produce disruptive technologies that will ensure Citizens' market leadership. As a future leader, you will work on multiple solutions spanning our consumer banking applications.

Role

Android Developer, the ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kotlin, a strong understanding of Android architecture components, and experience building scalable, high-performance mobile applications.

Required Skills
  • 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Experience with Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
  • Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt).
  • Understanding of Material Design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of APIs using REST and GraphQL
  • Proficient in Git and CI/CD tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 96,000 - $ 135,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
