Title :- AWS Data Engineer

Location: Remote

The pay range for this role is $130k - $140k per annum or variable pay 70-75/hr Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law). The AWS Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and testing robust and scalable data pipelines and data products within the Quality Data Lake environment. This role requires expertise in AWS native services, data modeling, ETL processes, and ensuring data quality and integrity for analytical and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS native services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, and others as required.

Build and optimize data products within the Quality Data Lake, ensuring data is readily accessible and consumable for various stakeholders.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Data Management & Quality:

Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes for diverse data sources into the Quality Data Lake.

Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data pipeline and within the data lake.

Develop and implement data governance and security best practices within the AWS environment.

Testing & Operations:

Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for data pipelines and data products to ensure reliability and performance.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and data lake components for optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Provide operational support and maintain documentation for all data engineering processes and solutions.

Technical Expertise:

Stay updated with the latest AWS services and data engineering trends to propose and implement innovative solutions.

Apply strong programming skills, primarily in Python, for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on AWS cloud environments.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS native services, including Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Athena, and others relevant to data engineering.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database technologies.

Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance principles.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Role: UX Architect

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience in Property and Casualty is Mandatory

Job Overview:

UX Architect to lead the design of seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences across our digital insurance platforms. You will work at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technology, designing experiences that drive customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance products (Life, P&C, Health, etc.) and workflows, and be skilled in designing user experiences across customer journeys such as quote & buy, policy management, claims filing, billing, and self-service.

Bachelor s or Master s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or related field.

6+ years of experience in UX design/architecture with at least 2-3 years in the insurance or financial services industry.

Solid portfolio showcasing UX design work for complex enterprise or customer-facing applications.

Proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.

Strong knowledge of design systems, interaction design principles, and responsive frameworks.

Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
