A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Network Engineer Mid

Position Snapshot: Mid-Level Network Engineer

Mid-Level Network Engineer to help drive our network transformation across exciting initiatives from branch refreshes to cutting-edge site builds.

This role is your gateway to hands-on Cisco networking in a hybrid environment, with opportunities to collaborate with senior engineers on high-impact deployments. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and have a passion for automation and innovation, we want to hear from you!

What You ll Be Doing

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to support network refreshes and new site rollouts.
• Assist with staging, shipping, and on-site coordination of network equipment.
• Manage change requests via enterprise ticketing systems, ensuring full compliance with Exelon s protocols.
• Partner with engineers, project managers, and real estate teams to bring customer initiatives to life.
• Participate in Agile sprints (bi-weekly cadence, no daily standups).
• Document network configurations and operational procedures for seamless team handoffs.
• Analyze and resolve network performance issues with precision.
• Contribute to automation efforts using tools like Ansible and Python.

What You Bring to the Table

• 3 5 years of Cisco networking experience (or 6 8 years without a degree but with proven expertise).
• Strong hands-on skills with Cisco routers and switches.
• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience navigating enterprise ticketing/change request systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications That Set You Apart

• CCNA Required
• CCNP Preferred

Bonus Skills That Make You Shine

• Familiarity with automation tools:
• Ansible (YAML proficiency)
• Python scripting
• Agile project experience
• Ability to work independently while contributing to large, cross-functional teams
• Experience in enterprise environments, especially in the utility sector or Fortune 200 500 companies

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $75.00 - $78.51 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
